I have been fighting the syringe for a while now. With all the great offers for Botox and Juvederm going on lately, it has been a real struggle. But, I keep telling myself, once I start, I can’t stop. I just don’t know if I am ready for that kind of commitment. So, for now, I am growing old gracefully, I guess.
Now, I am not a stranger to anti-aging creams and lotions to fight Father Time. Not at all. I will take any advice in that area that you can divulge. Bring it on!
Along with creams and lotions and gallons of sunscreen, I try to do a peel twice a week. I have found several OTC options that have really evened out my skin and alleviated some wrinkles.
I have the Bliss That’s Incredi-peel and Obagi Invisapeel. I use these faithfully and have found great results. I have also used GOOP’S Glow Glycolic Over Night Peels, too. All are great.
I apply at bedtime and let the product do its job as I rest.
One word of caution though, try to avoid sun exposure afterwards. I try and plan my peels around rain or cloudy weather. If none in the forecast that week, I just try staying indoors the day afterwards.
Have you tried any at-home peels?
Toodle-oo,
Melanie
